In front of the energy office there is a polycrystalline PV module. It provides electricity to a small black-and-white television, a lamp, and a ventilator during the summertime.
The PV module is made by the Solavolt company, it contains 36 polycrystalline cells and it has 40 W output at the standard measure condition. (1000W/m2 , 25 0C )
To solve the problem of the difference between the energy demand and the energy supply the system uses a 12V lead-acid battery.
